On Line Photo Sharing

The wonders of the Internet (especially Web 2.0) allowed us people to share our precious moments with friends, relatives and colleagues. The increase in bandwidths has made uploading and sharing large files easy to do. The advent of file compression and the development of JPEG format has led to the boom in on-line photo sharing. Even older kids and teenagers are into photo-sharing and file-sharing. The wave of social networking sites has made photo-sharing a fun thing to do. It has made the world a much smaller place. Photos shared on the Net makes the viewer as if he is being actually there during the photograph taking. A close cousin of photo-sharing is video-sharing which allows people to share their experiences with one another. Digital cameras and camera phones made picture taking relatively easy with automatic focus. The convergence in digital technology has made photo-sharing almost a hobby for some. The consequence of all this is that the Internet now is in danger of overload. The time is near when its bandwidth capacity cannot take on additional uploads and downloads. The sheer volume is simply too large with people taking photos anywhere and anytime which they want to share with someone else.

There are now proliferating many on-line photo labs as well. What you need to do is send your digital photos through the Internet and have them developed by these on-line labs. They will send the developed photographs to your mailing address in no time at all and the quality is really good too.
